I joined the staff at CrossRoads in September 2001 following nine years of lay ministry here at the church. I worked in the oil and petrochemical industry for twenty-five years as a chemical engineer prior to joining the CrossRoads Staff. As a lay minister, I was involved in coordinating small groups and teaching adults. Today, I oversee the church's business affairs and lead the Harvesters Adult Bible Fellowship. I also play guitar for CrossRoads' Praise and Worship Team.

I graduated from the Texas Tech University School of Engineering in 1977. During my sophomore year at Tech, I trusted Christ as my Savior and joined Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF). After serving in various leadership capacities at IVCF, my wife Pam and I moved to Beaumont, Texas, where our three children were born. During our ten-year stay in Beaumont, I served as a Bible teacher, deacon, elder, and church planter in several churches. We later moved to the Chicago area where I served as pastor of discipleship and evangelism in a small Bible church.

I love living in my native West Texas, even though it's a long way to my favorite trout streams in Colorado and New Mexico. I love fly fishing, fly tying, music, and reading.
