Nursery Procedures

Nursery Hours

The nursery building is open 30 minutes before scheduled services on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening. Children should be picked up immediately after each service. The nursery is provided for ages 0 to 4.

Arrival

Upon arriving at the nursery, every child should be signed in and a identification tag put on the child(ren) and diaper bag(s). The parent or person responsible for picking up the child should take a tag to be given to the caregiver when the child is picked up.

 

Departing

Check to make sure you have all of your child's, personal items. The twos and threes will have take home papers.

Parent Pagers

Pagers are given to all parents at the front desk. Pagers will vibrate if your child needs you for any reason during the service.

Privacy Rooms

A private room is available for mothers to nurse babies.

Promotion

Children are moved to the next age appropriate room on the first Sunday of the next month after their birthday. If moving to a new room is difficult for the child, the parents and caregivers determine the best procedure for a smooth transition. A child must be potty trained before they will be moved to the 3 year old class.
