Life Together
Few things are as contagious as a
community of believers that put love into
action. The Life Together Adult Bible
Fellowship is alive and growing because we
need each other, instead of self-sufficiency
or a "doing life alone" attitude.
We encourage the cultivation of deep
relationships by being a biblically
functioning community of Christ-followers;
united in vision, purpose, and values. We
have a firm commitment to assimilation as
each Life Together teammate seeks to
encourage and serve one another, and others
that join with us. Our heart's desire is to
have every member participating in ministry
through the Life Together way and be
absorbed in God's family.
This Adult Ministry has several
life-changing components, The first: Adult
Bible Study which unpacks a wide variety of
contemporary issues, Bible themes, spiritual
growth, and family living, team ministries,
small groups, and activities. Our meeting
time is 9:00 AM in Room 1125; refreshments
and fellowship are big. A Median Adult
Ministry.
Team Ministries. An organized way
for Life Together teammates to serve Jesus
Christ and others. It includes:
Encouragement, Activities, Hospitality,
Compassion, Prayer, Missions, and Small
Groups that are actively ministering to the
family of God.
Small Group Ministries. Four
reasons why Small Groups are vital to our
ministry: It leads to informal interaction
(open and non-threatening); there is
concentrated learning and increased growth
in peoples lives; it is a place to slow
down and experience community with others
(belongingness) and relating to fellow
members. You can join one today.
Activities and Events. We are
serious about having fun. It may be the
quickest avenue for fellowship to occur and
relationships to be built. "HAVE A PARTY".
Join us for our next activity and
rememberlove is spelled T-I-M-E. We have a
number of people who can teach well. We
affirm them. We need more people who can
party for God (Luke 5:29-30) by planning on
inviting friends to do Life Together.
Al and Alice Workman have ministered here
for 26 years and have been in full-time
ministry for 35 years. Al has a diverse
ministry background. Our prayer is that you
will join the Life Together team for an
exciting, challenging, rewarding life of
ministry.

TEAM Ministry
- ENCOURAGEMENT TEAM Call
visitors that attended class or worship
service and encourage them to attend our
class next Sunday and to a fellowship
that week. Call absentees and find out
if they have any special needs and
encourage them to come next week.
- EVENTS TEAM Meet monthly to
plan the calendar, plan a large scale
event every 2 months. Announce upcoming
events to the ABF.
- HOSPITALITY TEAM Make
people feel welcome Sunday mornings;
Greet visitors at the ABF. Pass out
bulletin and registration cards. Do Not
allow visitors to sit alone; prepare the
coffee and sound system before class and
oversee serving tables.
- COMPASSION TEAM Meet the
needs in the midst of emergencies;
Coordinate the delivery of meals in the
event of funeral or other emergency;
visit those in the hospital from our
ABF; Call the family of those in the
hospital and update the prayer team on
emergencies.
- PRAYER TEAM Keep up with
prayer request mentioned in the ABF and
through-out the week. Make class members
aware of request by listing in the
prayer bulletin and by E-mailing to
Prayer Chain. Collect E-mail addresses
of those who wish to be on the Prayer
Chain. Promote the need for Prayer in
the ABF, lead the class in prayer.
- MISSION TEAM Inform class
about Mission Field of the month;
encourage mission correspondence; be
active on the prayer request for
Missions through our Missions Director
and prayer letters, encourage the class
to give to missions.
- SMALL GROUP COORDINATOR
Know who in Life Together is in a Small
Group; maintain up-to-date group list;
recruit unattached interested class
attenders into a small group. Promote
Small Groups in class.
